The proprietress of Bethesda Home for the Blind has disclosed that
22 visually impaired candidates from the home who participated in the
2016 UTME did exceptionally well.
According to her, one of the students from the home scored 268
points which is the highest among the visually challenged students.
She further revealed that five of the candidates scored 250 points
each, five others had 240 points apiece and another five students
scored 235 points each. The least score among her candidates was
222.
She solicited for the support of the Government, stake holders and
well meaning Nigerians to enable these candidates to further their
educations.
She mentioned that the candidates from the Home that participated in
2015 UTME recorded similar brilliant results but could not proceed to
higher education due to lack of sponsorship.
